Learning Objectives:
- Familiarisation with using personal computers and have used a mouse and keyboard.
- Students should be comfortable in the Windows environment and be able to use Windows to manage information on their computer.
- Specifically, students should be able to launch and close programs; navigate to information stored on the computer; and manage files and folders.
- Creating, editing, and formatting documents; inserting simple tables and creating lists; and employing a variety of techniques for improving the appearance and accuracy of document content.

Requirements for Grades
The grades of Pass, Credit, Distinction and High Distinction will be awarded to students who achieve a total score as follows:
- 50-59 (Pass)
- 60-69 (Credit)
- 70-79 (Distinction)
- 80-100 (High Distinction)
